problem: boo hoo, i got charged too many overdraft fees because i can't spend less than i earn, and i still bank at a bank that charges me high fees every time the dog sneezes because i haven't taken the time to switch to a credit union. i worse yet, i still believe the marketing bullshit banks put on billboards about caring about me and my dreams. boo hoo. save me from my stupidty.

proposed solution: we'll use your tax dollars to create a new agency, that will advise banks to lower fees. banks will ignore such advice. you will still pay the fees and now you will also pay for this agency.

if you want a regulatory agency to protect you from your own inability to balance your checkbook, read this line out loud slowly.
